The S22 model is an upgrade from its predecessor, the S21, featuring enhanced technology for better overall performance on the road and light track use. 
-Improved Grip and Handling: The tyre provides 15% more cornering speed in dry conditions and 5% faster lap times in wet conditions compared to the S21. This is achieved through a new tread pattern design and advanced compound technology.
-Advanced Compound Technology: The rear tyre uses a unique 5-Layer Compound (5LC) with different compounds for the center (durability) and shoulders (grip at high lean angles), while the front uses a 3-Layer Compound (3LC).
